I ran into a video about ‘reality racing’ versus ‘virtual racing’. In this 7min20s video you see splitscreen views of a racetrack. One part the splitscreen view is the Forza Motorsport videogame and the other part is a real driver racing on the actual track. Amazing how the game view resembles the actual view.
The Forza Motorsport video reminded me of a clip of Jeremy Clarkson, host of Top Gear, doing the same comparison on Gran Turismo in a Honda NSX. Both Jeremy and the professional drivers that drove the Forza Motorsport tracks were faster in the game than in real life. The main reason for this is that you can actually die in real life. 😉
