I remember watching a clip shot at an art festival where falling water was turned into letters and other shapes (I posted this clip as a bonus video in this post). Well, off course a company had to copy the idea and use it for advertising. In this case Jeep did. It looks great but still it feels like a sell out of the idea to me. Watch the video.

Update: We have received information that Professor Pevnick created a graphical waterfall and patented it in 1979.

Bonus video of the Bitfall digital water display (thanks to Hans-Peter)

  1. Professor Pevnick invented the Graphical Waterfall in 1979.
Julius Popp didnt use his bitfall until 2004.
Professor Steve Pevnick has been teaching art at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and now you and another artist you seem to sponsor are taking credit for HIS work.

Professor Pevnick sponsors and helps other artists with the Graphical Waterfall which use to be called “rainfall”. Pretty close to bitfall dont you think!

Just imagine trying to do this 30 years ago? That was true art. Now, Popp is doing it and Fresh Creation is impressed?

“Fresh Creation” stands for New and Innovative art. Where were they when Professor Pevnick showed his waterfall art in Berlin in 1995?

Here is Professor Pevnick’s bio… please read. He is a fantastic artist.

Answer: Fresh Creation didn’t exist in 1995. We started in 2006.
