Darpa Brain Research

Darpa funded the research that created internet and the computer mouse. Now, they are funding research into something called “cortically coupled computer vision”. When you see something funny or interesting, a computer can recognize that pattern in a brain scan. So, if a computer knows what you are looking at, it can “tag” it as interesting or funny or whatever. Imagine: everything interesting you saw on the internet bookmarked without doing a thing.
